Become a Member
Companies wishing to trade in the HEnEx Derivatives Market are admitted as Trading Members according to the terms of the Financial Energy Market Rulebook. The following types of companies are eligible to become Trading Members in the HEnEx Derivatives Market:
Credit Institutions or Investment Firms that are duly licensed to execute orders on behalf of clients or trade for their own account.
Any company engaged in energy-related activities.
ATHEXClear provides Central Counterparty clearing services for HEnEx Derivatives Markets. Direct Clearing Members or General Clearing Members participate in clearing according to the conditions outlined in the ATHEXClear Clearing Rulebook.

Traders Certification
Certify your Energy Traders.
Each Member must have a sufficient number of Certified Traders based on their needs. Apply for the Energy Trader Certificate and participate in the relevant Training Program.

Activation
Connect to HEnEx’s Derivatives Markets.
Submit all relevant information about the persons representing your company, request the creation of users in the HEnEx’s trading systems (only for certified traders) and activate your Trading Account.
