The Hellenic Energy Exchange (HEnEx) offers access to the PPA Platform, which aims to facilitate the conclusion of bilateral RES power purchase agreements (RES-PPA).
HEnEx is responsible for the development and operation of the PPA Platform in a manner that ensures transparent, non-discriminatory access, equal treatment in service provision, and the anonymity of Offers and Contracts recorded on the PPA Platform.
Services
HEnEx provides the following services to Participants of the PPA Platform:
Access services to the PPA Platform
Services for submission of Offers and Expressions of Interest on the PPA Platform
Contract Recording Services.
Information services regarding Offers, Expression of Interest, and other recorded data on an anonymous basis or by name, subject to the consent of the interested parties
Other related services that may be specified by a Decision

Operation of the PPA Platform
The PPA Platform includes the Offers Submission and Expressions of Interest section and the Contract Recording section.
Offers Submission and Expressions of Interest section: Participants are able to submit anonymous power purchase and sell Offers through an information system and to proceed to Expression of Interest, on a non-binding basis, in one or more Offers submitted on the PPA Platform. The Offers submitted on the PPA Platform are published anonymously in the Offers Table, while the Expressions of Interest are disclosed by name only to the Participant who submitted the relevant Offer.
Contract Recording section: Participants have the option, on a voluntary basis, to record data and information on bilateral contracts concluded with other Participants of the PPA Platform.
HEnEx provides the Participants of the PPA Platform with a template contract for the purchase of electricity to facilitate their activities, in accordance with the provisions of the PPA Platform Rulebook.
The potential conclusion of a Contract between a Participant who has submitted an Offer and a Participant who has proceeded to an Expression of Interest in this Offer takes place outside the PPA Platform. In no case does the submission of an Offer or the Expression of Interest in one or more Offers constitute a commitment to negotiate or conclude a Contract between the Participants.
Operating days and hours
The Offer Submission and Expressions of Interest section, as well as the Contract Registration section, operate continuously.
HEnEx notifies Participants of any potential interruptions in the operation of the PPA Platform by any appropriate means.
Fees
For participation in the PPA Platform, the fees specified in the table below apply. More information on Participant Fees can be found here.

Technical support for Participants regarding the operation and participation in the PPA Platform is provided by HEnEx from Monday to Friday, 09.00 – 17.00 EST.
