Certification
Each EnExGroup Member is obliged to employ Traders or/and Clearers who have the appropriate certified professional competence. The certification is obtained either after the successful completion of the examinations carried out by HEnEx and EnExClear or upon request for exception from the examinations, as long as the required conditions are met according to the relevant HEnEx and EnExClear Technical Decisions.
Upon successfully completed of the certification process:
the Certified Energy Trader will have the right to access and participate in the relevant HEnEx Energy Markets
the Certified Energy Clearer will have the right to participate in the clearing procedures of the Electricity Markets and the Natural Gas Trading Platform carried out by EnExClear.
Specifically, for the needs of recognizing the professional competence of employees and executives, the following certificates are granted:
Energy Trader Certificate – Electricity (ETCE)
Energy Trader Certificate – Derivatives (ETCD)
Energy Trader Certificate – Gas (ETCG)
Energy Clearer Certificate (ECC)
In order to express your interest in obtaining an Energy Trader certificate, please fill-in and send to the EnExGroup Training Support the Form F2-1, together with the required supporting documents as indicated on the form.
In order to express your interest in obtaining an Energy Clearer certificate, please fill-in and send to the EnExGroup Training Support the Form CL2-1, together with the required supporting documents as indicated on the form.
Certification through Exams
The detailed procedure for selecting the exam is described below. A basic criterion is either expressing interest in the EnExGroup Training Support for participation in ad-hoc exams or the online registration for the scheduled exams, according to the plan provided and published by EnExGroup.
Certification through Exception
The complete procedure for applying for certification through exemption is described below. Each applicant must meet the conditions defined in the relevant HEnEx and EnExClear Technical Decisions in order to proceed with the submission of his request for exception.

The goal of our training program is a clear understanding of the overall context (regulatory and technical) and the acquisition of knowledge and skills for daily participation in the Markets.

It should be noted that EnExGroup’s seminars are designed to provide a full overview of each market and are a dynamic process in which candidates may ask questions and receive explanations.
EnExGroup offers professional training through scheduled and ad-hoc training seminars and exams for those who wish to acquire new skills and gain a thorough understanding of the Electricity Market, the Natural Gas Market, as well as the Derivatives Market.
Training Services and exams are available to HEnEx & EnExClear Members, or market professionals. The training as well as the examinations take place online.
