HEnEx as an Operator of Electricity Markets, monitors its markets so as to ensure the integrity and transparency of transactions, as well as their smooth operation, through its dedicated Market Monitoring & Analysis Department, which is responsible for the monitoring of both the Commodity and Derivatives markets.

Market monitoring consists of the live monitoring of the trading session of each market, as well as its ex-post analysis. Through these process and under the relevant regulatory framework, HEnEx detects cases of market abuse and cooperates with the regulatory authorities.
